Job summary

MINDEF Singapore is seeking a senior HR professional to oversee and supervise the implementation of the NSFs training road map across all vocations. You will coordinate NSF skills accreditation and manage related events and fairs, ensuring alignment with MINDEF policies.

You will lead a four-person HR team, work with multiple agencies, and drive promotions and demotions within established frameworks while upholding integrity and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Education in Human Resource Management or related field preferred.
• At least 6 years in HR operations, training frameworks and policy management.
• High integrity with strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work across multiple agencies and teams.
• Ability to coach and guide junior staff.

Job description

What the role is:

You oversee and supervise the implementation of the professional training road map for National Service Full-time (NSF) servicemen across all vocations as well as ensure the effective implementation of NSF skills accreditation and coordination of related events and fairs.

What you will be working on:

• Work with multiple stakeholders on all matters relating to NSF Route of Advancement (ROA) courses
• Oversee the formal assignment of trained NSFs to their designated vocations or units upon completion of training
• Ensure the timely promotion and demotion of NSFs in accordance with established frameworks and policies
• Lead and manage a Human Resource (HR) team of four permanent staff members

What we are looking for:

• Education in Human Resource Management or a related field is preferred
• At least 6 years of relevant experience in HR operations, training frameworks and policy management
• High degree of integrity with strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple agencies and teams
