Responsibilities of a Vegetarian Assistant Cook:

  • Wash, peel, chop, mix, portion, assemble, and package food items in accordance with SOPs and established recipes.
  • Support the manager by setting up workstations, operating basic kitchen equipment (such as mixers and ovens), and carrying out assigned cooking tasks.
  • Ensure all food prepared meets quality, presentation, and portioning standards while strictly following food safety, hygiene procedures, and health regulations.
  • Receive, store, and organize ingredients properly; monitor stock levels and assist with inventory checks and stock‑taking activities.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, equipment, and the overall kitchen environment.
  • Work efficiently to meet production timelines, reduce waste, and contribute to smooth team operations.
Requirements:
  • Basic food preparation skills (cutting, measuring) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience.
  • Ability to follow instructions and collaborate effectively within a team.
