Job summary

Hapag-Lloyd is seeking a Specialist Regional Berth Planning professional for the Asia Region, based in Singapore. You will coordinate berth plans with terminals, monitor vessel schedules, and ensure smooth operations by maintaining close stakeholder communication.

You will collaborate with Local Marine Operations, Portchain, and Terminal Performance teams to optimize berthing windows, reduce waiting times, and support cost control while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marine studies, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Experience in port and terminal management with berth planning focus.
• Strong knowledge of port operations, vessel scheduling and terminal activities.
• Familiarity with port/terminal management software and tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate berth planning for the Asia region and liaise with terminals.
• Monitor ETA/ETC progress and optimize berthing windows.
• Support cost control and performance management with vendors.
• Ensure accurate updates in Portchain and Ankeri systems.
