Hapag-Lloyd AG in Singapore is seeking an experienced professional to coordinate berth planning and terminal performance across our port operations. You will work closely with the Terminal and Local Marine teams, ensuring smooth vessel movements and accurate berth windows.

You will manage data in PortChain and Ankeri, monitor ETA/ETC, drive efficiencies, and support cost control and vendor negotiations. Mandarin fluency is required to support client communication in the region.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in marine studies, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in port and terminal management, berth planning and hub operations.
• Strong knowledge of port operations, vessel scheduling and terminal activities.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate and oversee operational activities requiring close contact with the Terminal and stakeholders.
• Support berth planning by liaising with terminal operators to optimize berth lineups and monitor ETA/ETC progress.
• Strive to reduce waiting times outside for incoming vessels and monitor performance against prospects.
• Assist and promote new business processes for smoother workflows.
• Maintain terminal information in Ankeri and ensure up-to-date data across scope locations.
• Act as Portchain super-user and collaborate with Portchain Team for project success.
• Supervise cost control staff in verifying invoices for accuracy.
• Support handling of dangerous goods containers with safety compliance.
• Coordinate with teams on damaged containers during load/discharge and document properly.
• Arrange local port formalities and represent the company within port community.
• Facilitate visits to terminals and Hapag vessels, coordinating schedules and information.
• Ensure timely data maintenance in PortChain and other port systems.
