The purpose of this role is to lead and drive business growth by providing strategic and operational management to ensure profitable sales, growth, and strong customer relationships. This involves providing leadership in product strategy, pricing, and portfolio management, while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. The role also includes driving profitable growth, managing resources effectively, and overseeing the country's P&A for designated business lines within the organisation.

The Opportunity
  • Drive the design, development and implementation of Portfolio strategy across the value chain that aligns with the overarching strategy.
  • Manage the portfolio P&L to deliver to portfolio targets.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including product, pricing and underwriting.
  • Develop and drive product strategies to underpin product profitability and sustainable growth.
Your new role
  • Lead, manage, coach and mentor the team to ensure effective resource allocation and optimal performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to maximise influence.
  • Deliver efficient, accurate and timely management information to support decision-making.
  • Translate strategies and plans into operational objectives for the business unit.
  • Develop networks and relationships internally and externally to ensure seamless delivery of the insurance value chain.
