Job summary

MMI Asia, the Singapore-based subsidiary of Messe München, is seeking an Event Director to own one or more trade fair brands end to end. You will set the long-term vision, hit commercial targets, and lead a multidisciplinary team across sales, marketing, operations and content.

You will be the recognised face of your shows in their industries, driving growth across ASEAN, coordinating with the global network and delivering end-to-end event execution from concept to post-show review.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial track record with P&L responsibility.
• 5+ years of leading multinational, cross-functional teams.
• ASEAN launch and growth experience with regional exposure.
• Excellent written and spoken English; additional ASEAN languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define 3–5 year vision and annual strategy for your portfolio.
• Own full P&L and set sales targets across exhibition space, sponsorships and partnerships.
• Lead a cross-functional show team across sales, marketing, operations and content.
• Represent shows in industry events and maintain strong exhibitor relationships.
• Oversee end-to-end delivery from concept to post-show review.
