Job summary

We Are Aspire Ltd in Singapore leads regional trade shows across Southeast Asia. As Event Director you will manage a portfolio of events, shape long-term plans, oversee budgets, and collaborate with industry partners to drive high-value experiences.

You will guide a cross-functional team, travel within SEA as needed, and represent the events professionally within the industry network, with flexible/hybrid working arrangements supported.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in commercial management, business development, or event operations.
• 5+ years managing or supervising team members.
• Experience working within or across ASEAN markets.
• Strong organizational, communication, and planning skills.
• Professional fluency in written and spoken English.
• Ability to travel within Southeast Asia as needed for event cycles.

Responsibilities

• Develop annual plans and long-term goals for the event portfolio.
• Identify new opportunities to expand into new sectors, regions, or event formats.
• Manage the event budget and financial performance, including forecasting and revenue planning.
• Work with the sales team to set fair pricing and achievable targets for sponsorship and exhibition space.
• Build positive, long-term relationships with exhibitors, sponsors, industry associations, and partners.
• Guide a cross-functional team, helping members develop their skills and meet team goals.
• Coordinate with venue teams, contractors, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Liaise with global teams to share knowledge and administrative best practices.
