Job summary

Pasona Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Sales Engineer (Electronics, Photonics) to drive sales and provide technical support across ASEAN markets, including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines.

The role involves cold calling, developing new customers, maintaining existing accounts, delivering product presentations, and collaborating with suppliers and the local sales team. Training will be provided, with opportunities for overseas travel.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor degree in Electronics/Photonics or related field.
Minimum 2 years sales experience.
Hands-on technical management and understanding.
Strong problem solving and product knowledge.
Able to develop new customers and cold call.
Strong presentation and communication skills.
Experience analyzing requirements; proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

Drive sales and technical support for electronic components across ASEAN markets.
Identify potential customers and schedule sales calls.
Maintain and service existing customers; provide engineering support.
Analyze expenses and prepare sales reports.
Prepare and deliver product presentations and provide application support.
Collaborate with suppliers and Singapore Sales team to meet goals.
Receive product training and handle system breakdowns when needed.
Build customer relationships and propose suitable products or services.
Prepare cost estimates and identify cost reductions.
Suggest process improvements by cost-benefit analysis.
Ensure compliance with local regulations.
Collect and analyze sales data for trends.
Address short- and long-term issues; contribute to productivity.
Other ad-hoc duties.
