Job summary

JAC Recruitment Pte. Ltd. is seeking a motivated Sales Engineer to support growth in Electronics and Photonics across Singapore and the ASEAN region.

This role involves working closely with customers, suppliers, and technical teams to deliver advanced engineering solutions and business development. You will travel within ASEAN, present technical solutions, prepare quotations, and train customers as needed. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential in this customer-facing

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electronics, Photonics, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in technical sales or application engineering is advantageous.
• Candidates may be considered for Sales Engineer or Senior Sales Engineer.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel within ASEAN.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities through customer outreach and market development.
• Manage and grow customer accounts across Singapore and ASEAN.

About the Company

A leading technology distribution and solutions provider is seeking a motivated Sales Engineer / Senior Sales Engineer to support the growth of its Electronics and Photonics business across Singapore and the ASEAN region.

This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with customers, suppliers, and technical teams while developing expertise in advanced engineering solutions and business development.

Working Location: Kallang, Singapore

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30AM - 5:30PM

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities through customer outreach, networking, and market development activities.

• Manage and grow customer accounts across Singapore and the ASEAN region.

• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions with customers.

• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions.

• Prepare quotations, proposals, sales reports, and forecasts.

• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to achieve business objectives.

• Provide product training, installation support, and troubleshooting assistance where required.

• Travel within the ASEAN region to support customers and develop business opportunities.
  

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electronics Engineering, Photonics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Relevant experience in technical sales, application engineering, business development, or customer‑facing engineering roles will be an advantage.

• Candidates with appropriate skills, qualifications, and experience may be considered for either the Sales Engineer or Senior Sales Engineer position.

• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Customer‑focused with an interest in sales and business development.

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Good command of spoken and written English.

• Willingness to travel within ASEAN when required.
