Job summary

GovTech, in collaboration with the National Archives of Singapore (NAS), is seeking a forward-looking part-time Declassification Analyst to support declassification of government files and facilitate public access.

You will review government files for sensitive content, liaise with government agencies, and perform data analytics tasks to inform workflows. The two-year contract offers a hybrid, part-time arrangement and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of working experience in public service or related fields.
• Mature with good judgement and strategic thinking.
• Strong teamwork and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent command of English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Review government files and identify sensitive content during declassification.
• Provide guidance and training to government agencies on declassification processes.
• Collaborate with NAS and other divisions to improve declassification workflows.
• Perform regular data analytics on public requests data; assist as secretariat when needed.
