Job summary

A construction firm in Singapore is seeking a qualified professional to take the lead in coordinating shop drawings and technical specifications across multiple trades. Candidates should possess a degree or diploma in Architecture, Mechanical, or Electrical fields and be proficient in Autocad and Revit/BIM software.   • Lead review and coordination of shop drawings across various trades.
  • Examine project specifications and technical clarifications.
  • Prepare and track progress of shop drawings and schedules.
  • Oversee submission and approval processes of drawings with Consultants.
  • Manage distribution of all Consultant and shop drawings.
  • Coordinate communication with all project stakeholders.
  • Resolve technical or coordination issues within the project team.

Job description
  • Take the lead in reviewing and coordinating shop drawings and as-built drawings across all relevant trades, including Architectural, Structural, MEP, and Specialist Subcontractors.
  • Examine project specifications, shop drawings, and technical clarifications thoroughly.
  • Prepare and track the progress of shop drawings and sample schedules in alignment with the procurement schedule.
  • Oversee the submission and approval process of shop drawings and samples with Consultants.
  • Manage the receipt, tracking, and distribution of all Consultant and shop drawings.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including Consultants, Authorities, Subcontractors, and other working partners throughout the construction phase.
  • Address and resolve any technical or coordination issues that arise within the project team or with external collaborators.
Requirements
  • Degree/ Diploma in Architecture/ Mechanical & Electrical or related field.
  • Proficient in Autocad, Revit/BIM software in Architectural/ Structural/ MEP
