Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Singapore is seeking an Accounts Receivable Officer / Project Billing Officer to support project billing, invoicing, collections, and receivables management. You will work closely with project and service teams to ensure timely and accurate billing, aging analysis, and month-end closing processes.

Fresh graduates are welcome; a Diploma in Accountancy/Finance/Business is preferred, with experience in AR, project billing, or Sage 300 a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update sales-related information in the ERP system.

• Prepare and issue project, service, maintenance, and export invoices (progress, advance, retention, final).
• Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate billing.
• Monitor unbilled projects, billing backlogs, and retention receivables.
• Support month-end closing, audit, reporting, and other finance tasks.
• Provide backup support within the Finance team and perform other duties.

The role works closely with project and service teams to ensure timely and accurate billing and collection of customer accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update sales-related information in the ERP system.
• Process and record customer payments and collections.
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables.
• Reconcile customer accounts and prepare monthly AR reconciliations.
• Prepare and issue project, service, maintenance, and export invoices, including progress, advance, retention, and final billings.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate billing.
• Monitor unbilled projects, billing backlogs, and retention receivables.
• Support month-end closing, audit, reporting, and other finance-related activities.
• Provide backup support within the Finance team and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are welcome. Experience in AR, project/construction billing, or Sage 300 is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and ERP systems, preferably Sage 300.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a strong team player.
