Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking an AR Executive on a 1-year renewable contract based in Singapore. You will prepare invoices, monitor milestones and billing schedules, process adjustments, and support financial close processes.

Requirements include a Diploma or Degree in Accountancy with 2–3 years of relevant experience and proficiency in MS Office. Exposure to GST and ACC/AR workflows is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Accountancy.
• Preferably with 2 to 3 years of relevant experiences.
• Proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate invoices: milestone billing, progress claims, change orders, retention, and final close-out.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Sales to monitor milestones and billing schedules, ensuring invoices comply with agreements.
• Process credit notes, billing adjustments and refunds with approvals and documentation.
• Monitor AR ageing and follow up with customers on overdue invoices by calls and emails.
• Reconcile customer accounts, resolve discrepancies and respond to inquiries promptly.
• Apply payments to invoices and investigate unapplied cash.
• Support month-end and year-end closing, including journal entries and FX revaluation.
• Prepare reports on sales, accounts receivable, billing, cash flow, and group reporting.
• Assist with GST reporting, tax documentation, master-data maintenance, stocktaking, and audits.
• Identify opportunities to improve the Bill-to-Cash process with cross-functional teams.
• General Ledger activities including recurring and non-recurring journal entries and documentation.
