Job summary

JAC Recruitment Pte. Ltd. is seeking an Accounts Executive (AR / Billing) to join the Shared Services Centre in Singapore. You will support revenue accounting, payment reconciliations, and month-end closing in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include invoicing, credit notes, reconciliations across various channels, and ensuring strong financial controls while collaborating with cross-functional teams on system and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in finance, accounting, revenue accounting, or accounts receivable.
• Experience handling high-volume transactional processing and month-end closing.
• Proficient with SAP and Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP.

• Manage day-to-day revenue accounting activities, including receipt processing, transaction validation, invoicing, credit notes, and reconciliation.
• Perform daily and monthly reconciliations across multiple payment channels and systems.
• Support month-end closing activities, including journal entries and revenue accruals.
• Investigate and resolve transaction discrepancies, variances, and operational issues.
• Prepare reports, support audits, and assist with process improvements.

About the role

Our client is a well-established consumer and retail organization with a strong presence in Singapore. They are seeking an Accounts Executive (AR / Billing) to join their Shared Services Centre, supporting revenue accounting, payment reconciliations, month-end closing activities, and finance operations in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day revenue accounting activities, including receipt processing, transaction validation, invoicing, credit note issuance, and reconciliation of sales transactions.
• Perform daily and monthly reconciliations across multiple payment channels and systems to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Support month-end closing activities, including preparation of journal entries, revenue accruals, account reconciliations, and other finance-related reporting requirements.
• Investigate and resolve transaction discrepancies, payment variances, and operational issues, working closely with internal stakeholders to maintain strong financial controls.
• Prepare operational and financial reports, support audit requirements, coordinate with cross-functional teams on system and process improvements, and assist with ad-hoc finance initiatives.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Revenue Accounting, or Accounts Receivable.
• Experience handling high-volume transactional processing, reconciliations, and month-end activities.
• Familiarity with SAP Accounting System.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and lookup functions.
