Job summary

GMP Technologies Singapore is seeking an Application Support Engineer for Supply Chain Finance Solutions to act as the primary contact for bank users and manage production incidents and service requests. You will troubleshoot, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure timely resolution while maintaining system integrity.

The role requires 9+ years of experience in application or system support, a degree in CS/IT/Finance/Economics, and strong knowledge of Supplier Finance products.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience in application or system support, preferably in finance.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or Economics.
• Strong knowledge of Supplier Finance, Accounts Receivables Purchase, and Dynamic Discounting products.
• Experience in enterprise application support with developers, infrastructure teams, service desks and business users.
• Hands-on scripting experience with DOS and Shell scripting.

Responsibilities

• Primary point of contact for bank users as a Subject Matter Expert for the Supply Chain Finance platform.
• Manage the full lifecycle of production incidents and service requests, providing troubleshooting and collaboration to conduct impact analysis and root cause analysis.
• Develop and maintain the Operational Knowledge Base for incident processes in the Supply Chain Finance ecosystem; validate platform functionality after patches.
• Oversee platform operations and coordinate during Disaster Recovery exercises; execute system configuration changes.
• Identify risks and issues and participate in system restoration during Disaster Recovery exercises.

• Work with the System Owner and Incident Manager to develop and maintain the Operational Knowledge Base for incident process management in the Supply Chain Finance ecosystem, ensuring documentation is regularly updated, particularly with new releases and enhancements, while validating the platforms functionality after both scheduled and unscheduled patches.
• Oversee platform operations and coordinate with internal stakeholders during Disaster Recovery exercises, while executing system configuration changes for the Supply Chain Finance platform.
• Identify and promptly escape risks and issues to relevant parties to mitigate potential impact, and actively participate in system restoration efforts during Disaster Recovery exercises.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or Economics.
• Minimum of 9 years of experience in application or system support, preferably within the finance industry.
• Strong functional knowledge of Supplier Finance, Accounts Receivables Purchase, and Dynamic Discounting products, including middle and back-office operations such as funding and payments.
• Proven experience in an enterprise application support environment, working closely with developers, infrastructure teams, service desks, and business users.
• Solid understanding and hands-on experience with scripting languages such as DOS and Shell Scripting.
