Stripe is seeking an Account Executive, Product focused on Local Payment Methods to drive adoption and revenue across APAC. This quota-carrying role partners with Core AEs and Customer Success Managers through the full sales cycle, from discovery to expansion.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in sales or related commercial role at a technology company.
• Experience leading complex B2B sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to translate technical product requirements into clear customer outcomes and commercially viable solutions.
• Strong executive presence and ability to communicate with product, engineering, and C-level executives.
• Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships and influence cross-functional teams.
• Experience developing business cases and leading complex commercial negotiations.
• Self-starting, highly organized, and able to deliver results in a fast-moving environment.
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and analytical skills.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Deliver against an individual quota by driving adoption, payment volume, and revenue for Stripe’s local payment methods across APAC.
• Partner with Core Account Executives and Customer Success Managers to identify, qualify, develop, and close high-potential LPM opportunities.
• Build territory and account strategies reflecting local payment preferences across Australia, New Zealand, Japan, India, Singapore, SEA, and other APAC markets.
• Lead discovery with stakeholders to understand needs and recommend payment-method strategies.
• Develop customer-specific business cases linking LPM adoption to conversion and revenue growth.
• Lead complex commercial discussions and coordinate with Partnerships and Deals teams.
• Work with Solutions Architecture, Product, Engineering, and Post-Sales to translate requirements into viable integrations and launch plans.
• Guide users from evaluation through activation and post-launch expansion.
• Monitor adoption and whitespace; coordinate with account teams on growth plans.
• Serve as an LPM expert, creating field enablement and regional sales plays.
• Synthesize market intelligence to inform product and GTM priorities.
