Job description

  • Strong working knowledge of employment laws in Singapore, Hong Kong, and/or Japan.
  • Experience in a regional or multinational environment is highly preferred.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to work effectively across cultures and seniority levels.

We are looking for an experienced HR Manager with regional exposure to lead and strengthen our human resources function across APAC. This role is suited for a proactive HR professional who is comfortable working across multiple countries, understands both local labour laws and global HR practices, and enjoys building strong people processes in a growing organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Manage the full HR lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, learning & development, compensation & benefits, and employee engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and HR regulations across Singapore, Hong Kong, and Japan.
  • Handle eployee relations matters, including grievances and dispute resolution.
  • Partner with regional and global stakeholders to deliver HR initiatives and projects.
  • Advise managers on talent management, succession planning, and organisational development.
  • Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across the region.
  • Use HR data and reporting to support informed decision-making.
  • Work with external partners such as recruitment agencies, vendors, and government bodies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of HR experience, with experience working with Japan counterpart.
  • Strong working knowledge of employment laws in Singapore, Hong Kong, and/or Japan.
  • Experience in a regional or multinational environment is highly preferred.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to work effectively across cultures and seniority levels.
  • Comfortable managing change in a fast-paced environment.
  • HR certifications (e.g. IHRP, SHRM, CIPD) are an advantage.
