Job summary

CMA CGM Group is seeking a senior professional to oversee liner partnerships across the Asia Pacific region. You will lead governance, analyze financials, and negotiate terms to protect the group’s interests. The role acts as a trusted advisor to Line Management and the VP on partnership strategy.

You will drive performance, mentor the team, and maintain diplomatic relationships with shipping lines while ensuring alignment with the global partnership strategy.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business Control, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in shipping lines partnerships or alliance management; 8+ years shipping industry experience.
• Strong with digital IT tools and MS Office, advanced Excel skills.
• Experience in IT digitalisation project deployment preferred.
• Proven people management and leadership capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; diplomatic yet assertive.

Responsibilities

• Administer partnership agreements across APAC, ensuring alignment with strategy.
• Monitor contract financials, including invoicing and cash-flow implications.
• Lead contract discussions and negotiate terms within scope.
• Supervise ANL and CNC agreements; advise Line Management on implementation.
• Provide analyses and tools to support decision-making for VP and management.
• Coordinate with support functions and drive corrective actions as needed.
• Handle disputes and maintain relationships with other shipping lines.
