Job summary

AESEN PTE. LTD. is seeking a dynamic Senior Commercial & Business Development professional to drive growth across APAC markets. You will lead chartering and tendering efforts, build strong client relationships, and steer opportunities from identification through contract award.

You will collaborate with the GM and regional teams to pursue strategic partnerships, new market entry, and cross-border growth, while ensuring compliance with HSQE standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, maritime studies or related discipline.
• 5–8 years of commercial, business development, chartering or sales experience in offshore marine, oil & gas, EPC, marine logistics or related sectors.
• Strong understanding of offshore marine transportation, logistics, chartering and tendering.
• Experience in business development, tender preparation, pricing & cost modelling, contract negotiation and commercial evaluation.
• Proven ability to develop client relationships, generate opportunities and manage key accounts across multiple markets.
• Strong commercial acumen with understanding of revenue, gross profit, margins, contractual risk and asset utilisation.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation and stakeholder-management skills, able to engage senior-level clients.
• Self-driven, proactive and able to manage multiple opportunities and priorities with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Drive business development and manage the commercial pipeline across APAC markets and key accounts, identifying opportunities to meet revenue and gross profit targets.
• Lead commercial and chartering activities including pre-qualifications, RFQs, tenders, pricing, cost modelling, approvals and contract negotiations.
• Manage commercial forecasting and reporting with accurate pipeline, CRM records, revenue and asset utilisation data.
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients, partners and industry stakeholders.
• Support regional growth through strategic partnerships, new market entry and cross-border opportunities across APAC.
• Ensure all commercial activities comply with company policies, procedures and HSQE requirements.
