Job summary

Checkout.com in Singapore is seeking a Business Development Representative to identify qualified opportunities for the regional sales team. Based in Singapore, you will research target accounts, reach decision-makers with thoughtful outreach, qualify prospects, and clearly communicate Checkout.com’s value proposition to drive pipeline and growth.

You will report to the Marketing & BDR Director, APAC, collaborating with Sales and Marketing to exceed targets and advance regional expansion.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in outbound sales selling complex products or services to enterprise customers.
• Experience in payments industry or with Singapore/Southeast Asia merchants is a significant advantage.
• Strong collaboration with Sales and Marketing teams to support targeted outreach.
• Excellent listening and communication skills, written and verbal, with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Consistently exceed targets on a monthly basis.
• Display a creative prospecting cadence for targeted accounts.
• Become the authority on all things Checkout.com.
• Understand customer needs to demonstrate Checkout.com's value proposition.
• Keep informed about latest developments in different industries.
• Learn and use various sales tools to network.
• Work closely with the sales team to streamline the sales process and grow knowledge.
