Job summary

WECRUIT PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced airfreight import coordinator to manage end-to-end shipments, from arrival to billing and closure. You will ensure accuracy of documentation, customs clearance, and delivery arrangements.

You will act as the main contact for customers, provide timely shipment updates, coordinate with airlines, handling agents and internal teams, monitor progress to meet SLAs and KPIs, and escalate issues as needed.

• Experience in airfreight import operations and handling documentation.

Job description

Manage end-to-end airfreight import shipments, including shipment arrival, documentation, customs clearance, delivery arrangements, billing and shipment closure.

Serve as the main point of contact for customers, providing shipment updates and responding to enquiries promptly.

Coordinate with airlines, ground handling agents, trucking partners, customs authorities and internal teams to ensure smooth shipment operations.

Monitor shipment progress and ensure compliance with customer requirements, service level agreements (SLAs), key performance indicators (KPIs) and company procedures.

Resolve shipment delays, documentation discrepancies and customs-related issues in a timely manner.

Maintain accurate shipment records, billing information and regulatory documentation.

Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Escalate complex issues to management and follow up on their resolution.

Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
