Job summary

Wecruit Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced airfreight import specialist to manage end-to-end shipments in Singapore. You will coordinate with airlines, ground handlers, trucking providers, customs authorities, and internal teams to ensure smooth processing from arrival to closure.

The role requires handling documentation, monitoring SLAs/KPIs, resolving delays and discrepancies, and maintaining accurate records. You will mentor junior staff and escalate issues when necessary.

Qualifications

• Experience in airfreight import operations and shipments management.
• Strong communication with airlines, agents and customs authorities.
• Ability to monitor SLAs and KPIs and maintain compliance.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end airfreight import shipments, including arrival monitoring, documentation, customs clearance coordination, delivery, billing, and closure.
• Manage customer enquiries and provide timely updates on shipment status, delays, and operational matters.
• Coordinate with airlines, ground handling agents, trucking providers, customs authorities, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth shipment processing.
• Monitor shipment performance against agreed SLAs, operational KPIs, and company procedures.
• Resolve shipment delays, documentation discrepancies, and customs-related issues, with particular attention to complex and high-value cargo.
• Recommend operational improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate shipment documentation, reports, billing records, and compliance-related information.
• Support junior customer service staff through operational guidance and knowledge sharing.
• Escalate unresolved issues to management and ensure effective follow-up and closure.
