Job summary

WECRUIT PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled airfreight import specialist in Singapore to manage end-to-end import shipments for advanced technology customers.

You will ensure accurate documentation, customs clearance, and timely delivery coordination while maintaining robust communication with customers and internal teams. You will coordinate with airlines, ground handlers, and authorities, own high-value shipments, monitor SLAs, and mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee airfreight import shipments for advanced technology customers, ensuring documentation, customs clearance and delivery coordination.
• Manage customer communications and provide timely updates on shipment progress and delays.
• Coordinate with airlines, ground handlers, transport providers, customs authorities and internal stakeholders to meet customer requirements.
• Take ownership of complex, urgent and high-value shipments, resolving issues promptly.
• Monitor SLAs, KPIs and compliance with procedures and regulations.
• Review shipment documentation and maintain accurate operational and regulatory records.
• Identify service gaps and lead improvements to shipment handling and customer support.
• Mentor junior team members on import procedures, documentation standards and customer service practices.
• Escalate operational risks and customer concerns to management with timely follow-up.

• Take ownership of complex, urgent and high-value shipments, ensuring operational issues are resolved promptly.

• Monitor SLAs, KPIs and compliance with company procedures and applicable regulations.

• Review shipment documentation and maintain accurate operational and regulatory records.

• Identify service gaps and lead or recommend improvements to shipment handling and customer support processes.

• Mentor junior team members on import procedures, documentation standards and customer service practices.

• Escalate significant operational risks and customer concerns to management and ensure timely follow-up.
