Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics (S) Pte Ltd is seeking an Air Import Operations staff in Singapore to execute daily import procedures, prepare MAWB/HAWB/Manifest/COO, and coordinate with shippers, airlines and agents to ensure timely shipments.

The role requires 2–3 years in air freight forwarding, MS Office proficiency, and the ability to manage data in TMF. DG certification is a plus, and 5.5-day work week may apply.

Qualifications

• GCE O level or Diploma in relevant discipline required.
• 2-3 years of working experience in air freight forwarding operations.
• Knowledge of TMF system and air cargo clearance permit declarations is preferred.
• DG Certification would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Execute the daily air freight import operation.
• Prepare documentation (MAWB, HAWB, Manifest, COO).
• Update data per airlines’ requirements in TMF system.
• Send pre-alerts to agents and coordinate bookings with shippers, airlines, co-loaders, and overseas agents.
• Arrange cargo collection with transporters as required.
• Arrange shipment deliveries and permit declarations for air import.
• Provide guidance and assistance in air cargo operations at the terminal as needed.
• Respond to queries via phone and email promptly and accurately.
• Communicate with stakeholders to ensure efficient shipment execution.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job description

The incumbent will execute Air import operations effectively and efficiently with the objective of operational excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• To execute the daily air freight import operation
• Execute and prepare documentations (Mawb, Hawb, Manifest, COO)
• To timely update and provide accurate data as per airlines requirement in TMF system.
• Update and send pre-alerts to agents
• Coordinate bookings of air cargo with shippers, airlines, co-loaders, and overseas agents.
• To arrange cargo collection with transporters if required.
• Arrange shipment deliveries and permit declarations for air import.
• Guide and assist in the Air cargo operation at the terminal if required.
• Respond to all queries over phone and emails timely and with accuracy.
• To communicate and coordinate with each stakeholder for efficient execution of shipments.
• To perform any other duties as assigned by management.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum GCE 'O' level / NITEC / Diploma in Relevant Discipline
• Knowledge of MS Office applications – Outlook, Excel, Word
• Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in Air freight forwarding operations
• Possess experience in air cargo clearance permit declarations
• DG Certification would be an added advantage
• Meticulous, organized, and willing to put the extra effort for tasks completion
