Job summary

AGI Freight Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a team-oriented Freight Forwarding Executive in Singapore. You will prepare shipping documents, handle customs declarations, and respond to customer enquiries while ensuring timely task execution.

The role requires 1–2 years in freight forwarding, English communication skills, and the ability to meet deadlines. Collaboration with the team and adherence to procedures are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Secondary level education in Logistics/Transportation or equivalent.
• English to liaise with clients.
• 1–2 years of experience in a freight forwarding company.
• Able to meet deadlines and work efficiently.
• Knowledge of import/export documentation.
• Teamwork and good communication.
• Costing and billing knowledge is an added advantage.
• Permit declaration knowledge is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare shipping documents and handle customs declarations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare shipping documents
• Handle customs declaration and Tradenet operations
• Other duties as assigned
• Able to execute AWB based on CS instructions and comply to terminal/airline requirement.
• Attend to customers’ enquiries via email wherever necessary.
• Respond to customer complaints and enquiries promptly (sense of urgency) and provide possible suggestions / solutions or assist with recovery actions whenever possible.
• Able to work in team with communication and understanding of workflow.
• Take on additional tasks delegated by Department Supervisor/ Manager.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Secondary School/"O" Level in Logistic/Transportation or equivalent.
• Required language(s): English to liaise with clients
• Knowledge of Import and Export documentation
• 1-2 years of working Experience in Freight Forwarding company
• Able to perform given tasks efficiently
• Able to meet deadlines
