Job summary

AGI Freight Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a proactive Freight Forwarding Associate to support daily shipping operations in Singapore. You will execute AWB per client and service instructions, manage inbound and outbound documents, and assist customers via email and telephone while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

This role requires strong teamwork, clear communication, and the ability to respond promptly to complaints and enquiries with practical solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in Import or Export shipping documentation.
• 1–2 years in a freight forwarding company.
• Able to meet deadlines as directed by supervisor/manager.
• Team player with cooperative attitude.
• Knowledge of costing and billing is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Execute AWB per client and service instructions; comply with terminal/airline requirements.
• Handle inbound or outbound shipment documents.
• Assist customers’ requests via email and telephone when needed.
• Respond to complaints and enquiries promptly with possible solutions.
• Demonstrate teamwork with clear workflow communication.
• Take on tasks delegated by Department Supervisor/Manager.
• Work 5.5 days per week as part of the team after probation.

• Respond to customer complaints and enquiries promptly (sense of urgency) and provide possible suggestions / solutions or assist with recovery actions whenever possible.
• Teamwork capabilities with communication and understanding of workflow.
• Take on additional tasks delegated by Department Supervisor/ Manager.
• 5.5days per week (routine with team after probation

Requirements

• Knowledge of Import or Export shipping documentation
• 1-2 years of working experience in Freight Forwarding company
• Able to perform given tasks efficiently and meet the deadline given by supervisor/manager
• Team worker
• With permit declaration knowledge of Costing and Billing is an added advantage.
