Job summary

A global semiconductor company in Singapore is seeking an experienced Financial Reporting and Tax professional to oversee financial closing processes and prepare tax provisions. You will coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. The ideal candidate should have experience in SAP and knowledge of financial regulations. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to process improvements and support internal audits.

Qualifications

Job description
Financial Reporting
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely submission in accordance with statutory and Group reporting requirements.

  • Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.

  • Manage month-end closing activities in SAP with minimal supervision.

  • Investigate and resolve financial discrepancies by reviewing and analysing account information.

  • Identify and communicate control weaknesses observed during daily operations to support internal audits and SOX compliance.

  • Coordinate annual audits with external auditors, ensuring timely and accurate responses to all queries.

  • Support audit requests and maintain proper documentation for review.

  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks or projects as assigned.

Taxation
  • Prepare quarterly tax provisions in accordance with the latest tax incentive schemes and regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain tax schedules and assist in the preparation and filing of corporate income tax and other statutory submission.

  • Coordinate with the Group tax team and external tax agents on transfer pricing documentation and provide details of related-party transactions.

  • Liaise with external tax advisors and IRAS to address queries raised by the Comptroller of Income Tax.

  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations relevant to the business, and planning to support tax optimisation initiatives.

  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks or projects as assigned.
