Job summary

A construction firm in Singapore is seeking an Accounts and Administrative Executive to assist in managing full accounts, cash flow forecasts, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate should be organized, capable of fostering positive relationships with stakeholders, and ready to tackle varied tasks in a team setting. This role requires excellent accounting knowledge and time management skills, with Saturday workdays being applicable.

Qualifications

  • Competency in maintaining a full set of accounts is required.
  • Experience in cash flow forecasts and budget management is essential.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage documents and tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining full set of accounts.
  • Work closely with the supervisor on cash flow allocations.
  • Manage the budget for subcontractors.
  • Monitor aging receivables and follow-up on collections.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of vendor statements.
  • Complete administrative tasks such as photocopying and documentation.

  • Responsible for assistance in maintaining full set of accounts;
  • To assist and work closely with boss on the cash flow allocations and forecasts;
  • To be in charge of the payment cert and manage sub contractor’s budget;
  • To assist for submission of procurement management when instructed to;
  • To assist in Human Resources tasks when instructed to;
  • Monitor the aging of receivables and follow-up on collections;
  • Perform monthly reconciliation of vendor statements of accounts and ensure payments are processed timely;
  • Other accounts and administrative related works as instructed;
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with Clients, Architects, Consultants, Authorities, all Contractors, suppliers and any other relevant personnel;
  • Maintains an organized workplace;
  • To work as part of a team;
  • Administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning, answering of phone calls, filling & documentation, etc.;
  • To undertake any other such tasks as may be assigned from time to time by your immediate supervisor.
  • Alternate Saturday workday applies.
