Job summary

A professional accounting firm in Singapore seeks an experienced accountant to handle bookkeeping, prepare management accounts, and manage tax computations. The ideal candidate should have a diploma in accounting and at least three years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is required. This role offers opportunities for career advancement and is primarily Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM.

Responsibilities:

  1. Bookkeeping transactions for partial or full sets of multiple clients’ accounts.

  2. Prepare management accounts and director statements for year-end filing.

  3. Prepare quarterly GST returns.

  4. Prepare tax computations and Form C/CS for company income tax.

  5. Perform other filings, e.g., IR21, IR8A, GST registration.

  6. Perform ACRA filings.

  7. Perform any other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum qualification: LCCI/Diploma in Accounting or equivalent.

  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word & Excel).

  • Strong sense of responsibility, maturity, self-initiative, proactivity, attention to detail, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently.

  • Bilingual proficiency inEnglish and Mandarinto effectively communicate with clients of different language backgrounds.

  • Working Days:Monday to Friday

  • Working Hours:9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
