Job summary

TMS Alliances Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a qualified finance professional to manage month-end closing, financial reporting and accounting processes. The role requires ensuring accuracy and integrity in financial statements and compliance with FRS.

You will review monthly performance, coordinate with auditors and tax agents, support budgeting, and ensure statutory filings. Construction-industry experience is preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree in Accountancy, ACCA / CPA / CA.
• Experience in financial reporting and month-end close.
• Knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards (FRS) and tax filing requirements.
• Construction industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to Management.
• Handle AP & AR, GL, reconciliations.
• Ensure reporting integrity and compliance with FRS.
• Review monthly financial performances and KPIs.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and authorities.
• Support forecasting and budgeting activities.
• Review actual, forecast and budget comparisons.
• Assist in tax filings, audits and statutory forms.

Statement Of Purpose

(Overall Purpose of Job)

Major Duties & Responsibilities

(A) Specific :

• Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to Management


• Responsible for accounting processes and tasks (i.e.: AP & AR process, GL, account reconciliation, etc.).


• Ensure reporting integrity and compliance with FRS.


• Review and analyse monthly financial performances and key performance indicators.


• Coordinate and liaise with external parties like external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax and government authorities where required


• Support forecasting and budgeting exercise.


• Review and analyse actual, forecast and budget.


• Support and ensure compliance with all finance filing requirements, tax filing requirement (GST/CIT), audits, procedures and forms both statutory and internal.


• Assist in new processes and system implementation when required.

(B) General :

• Ad-hoc reporting and analysis.


• Other duties as assigned.

(C) Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) :

• Ensure compliance with WSH regulations and company safety policies.


• Assist in the implementation and continuous improvement of ISO45001 and other management systems.


• Maintain safely manuals, procedures, and work instructions.


• Conduct daily toolbox meetings and safety briefing, if applicable.


• Ensure all employees use propriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), if applicable.


• Identify project site / office hazards and implement corrective and preventive actions.


• Report accidents, incidents, and near misses promptly.

Job Requirements

(A) Education, Qualifications & Special Training:

• Minimum Degree in Accountancy, ACCA / CPA / CA.


• Job holder without the above qualification but with relevant experience would be considered.

(B) Knowledge & Skills:

• Good knowledge on Financial Reporting Standards (FRS).


• Possess strong analytical skills.


• Proactive, committed and good team player with effective inter-personal skills.


• Proficient in Excel.

(C) Experience:

• Preferably minimum 3 years financial related experiences.


• Preferably with experience in construction industry.


• Candidate with audit experiences will be considered.
