Job summary

TPS Construction Pte Ltd is seeking a senior finance professional to oversee daily operations including GL, AP, AR, bank reconciliations, payroll, and month-end closure. You will ensure accurate financial reporting, audit readiness, GST and corporate tax compliance, and lead consolidation for monthly and quarterly management reports.

You will also manage budgeting, cash flow planning, WIP analysis, and capital risk management while liaising with banks, regulators, and internal departments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA or CA is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in finance and account management (preferably in the Construction Industry) including supervisory or managerial experience.
  • Familiar with Singapore's financial policies, corporate financial regulations/procedures and proficient in relevant financial and tax laws/regulations.
  • Meticulous, independent and a good interpersonal skill.
  • Able to take responsibility and being accountable.
  • Good organization, coordination, communication skills and teamwork spirit, have strong sense of responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily finance operations, including GL, AP, AR, bank reconciliations, cashflow, management, month-end closing and payroll processing.
  • Ensure the accuracy and timely preparation of financial reports, including audited finance statements, GST returns and income tax returns.
  • Manage consolidation and preparation of monthly and quarterly management reports, budgets and forecasts, cost control.
  • Establish a financial analysis procedure and model, and report financial status to Management regularly.
  • Maintain project-wise accounting records and cost allocations.
  • Review work-in-progress (WIP) reports and project status reports.
  • Attend to government surveys and audit queries.
  • Liaise and communicate with banks, customers, suppliers, auditors, tax authorities and regulatory agencies and internal related departments.
  • Prepare project capital plan and ensure proper cash flow and allocation of funds, as well as managing capital risks.
  • Ensuring compliance with current accounting standards and company policies.
  • Assist in any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
