Job summary

Avolt in Singapore is seeking a qualified accountant to manage full sets of accounts with minimal supervision. The role involves timely month-end closing, financial reporting to management, and coordinating with auditors and tax authorities.

Ideal candidates will have a Degree in Accountancy, 3+ years of relevant experience (construction sector a plus), strong MS Office skills, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset with the ability to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Handle full sets of accounts independently with minimal supervision.
• Provide accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to Management.
• Prepare statements of outstanding accounts.
• Compile and check staff reimbursement.
• Assist in budget forecast and financial analysis of P&L and balance sheet.
• Coordinate with internal and external parties (auditors, tax agents, regulators) as needed.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations and maintain accounting controls.
• Support enhancement of financial and management reporting systems and procedures.

• Able to handle full sets of account independently with minimal supervision.
• Provide accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to Management
• Responsible for preparation of statement of outstanding account
• Responsible to compile and check staff reimbursement
• Assist in budget forecast, financial analysis on P&L and balance sheet
• To coordinate and liaise with internal parties to support intercompany activities
• To coordinate and liaise with external parties like external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax and government authorities where required
• To ensure company comply with financial policies and regulations
• To maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
• Assist in enhancement of the financial and management reporting system, internal control, policies and procedures

Requirement:

• Degree in Accountancy
• Min 3 years relevant work experience in relevant field, experience in construction company is an added value
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
