Job summary

AVOLT PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced Accountant to join the finance team. You will manage full accounting cycles, perform month-end close, and deliver accurate financial reporting to management.

The role requires a Degree in Accountancy and at least 3 years of relevant experience, with strong MS Office skills, analytical ability, and good communication. You will coordinate with internal and external parties to ensure policy compliance and effective controls.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy is required.
• Min 3 years relevant work experience in accounting, construction sector is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Able to handle full sets of accounts independently with minimal supervision.

• Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
• Assist in enhancing financial and management reporting systems, internal controls, policies and procedures.

• Provide accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to Management
• Responsible for preparation of statement of outstanding account
• Responsible to compile and check staff reimbursement
• Assist in budget forecast, financial analysis on P&L and balance sheet
• To coordinate and liaise with internal parties to support intercompany activities
• To coordinate and liaise with external parties like external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax and government authorities where required
• To ensure company comply with financial policies and regulations
• To maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
• Assist in enhancement of the financial and management reporting system, internal control, policies and procedures

Requirement:

• Degree in Accountancy
• Min 3 years relevant work experience in relevant field, experience in construction company is an added value
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
