About the job Accountant

Role Overview:The Accountant will oversee the comprehensive financial,

bookkeeping, and reporting functions of the Singapore office. Reporting

lines include direct communication with the Financial Manager, COO, and

CEO.

Key Responsibilities:

- Financial Documentation & Bookkeeping: Accurately record transactions,

maintain ledgers, handle accounts payable/receivable.

- Audit Support: Prepare for internal/external audits and collaborate with

external auditors.

- Tax Compliance: Ensure adherence to Singapore's tax regulations and timely

filings.

- Budgeting: Assist in the creation and analysis of budgets and financial

forecasts.

- Payroll: Manage timely and accurate payroll processes.

- Treasury: Support cash flow management and liquidity.

- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial reviews to guide decision-making.

- Compliance & Process Optimisation: Streamline financial management

processes; maintain regulatory adherence.

- Financial Reporting: Produce regular financial statements, ensuring local

accounting compliance.

- Operational Efficiency: Refine accounting procedures; maintain transaction

accuracy.

- Liaison & Collaboration: Partner with departments for financial data and

coordinate with company subsidiaries.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's in Accounting or related field with CIMA, ACCA, or CPA.

5+ years in accounting; audit firm experience preferred.

Familiarity with accounting software such as Pastel, Xero, and Sage.

Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
