Job summary

ORANGE DESIGN AND RENOVATION PTE. LTD. is seeking a capable Accountant/Finance professional to manage the full set of accounts, prepare financial reports, and support payroll, HR, and office administration.

You will liaise with external auditors and maintain accurate records for project cost control and reporting. The role requires 2+ years in accounting, strong knowledge of Singapore practices, and proficiency in Xero/QuickBooks/MYOB.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline
  • Minimum 2 years of experience managing full set of accounts
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, AutoCount, MYOB, or similar ERP systems
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting practices and bookkeeping
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Manage full set of accounts including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), bank reconciliation, journal entries, and month-end/year-end closing to ensure accurate financial records
  • Prepare financial reports, project cost analyses, and maintain Project Profit & Loss (P&L) statements for informed decision-making
  • Generate invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and quotations, and follow up on customer payments to maintain cash flow
  • Assist with GST submission and audit schedules, liaising with external accountants and auditors to ensure compliance
  • Support payroll processing and maintain accurate employee records to facilitate timely salary disbursement
  • Provide administrative and HR support including documentation, filing, onboarding, and office administration to maintain organized operations
  • Handle phone calls, WhatsApp messages, and email correspondence to provide first-level customer and business support
  • Coordinate daily office operations and maintain an organized office environment for efficient workflow
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and business documents using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to support management needs
  • Maintain proper filing and documentation for financial, HR, and operational records to ensure data integrity
  • Perform other ad hoc duties assigned by Management to support business needs

Job Summary

Required competencies and certifications
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline

  • Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting practices and bookkeeping

Preferred competencies and qualifications
  • Experience in payroll processing, GST submission, and financial reporting
  • Prior experience in Interior Design, Renovation, or Construction industry
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills applied in business contexts
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin to facilitate communication with diverse clients and suppliers
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills demonstrated through managing accounting and administrative tasks
  • Basic knowledge of Photoshop or Illustrator
  • Passion for the interior design industry and ability to thrive in a fast-paced SME environment
