Job summary

PCCW Solutions Insys Pte. Ltd. seeks a Wintel Engineer to join a 24x7 shift-based team, focusing on Windows Server and Active Directory monitoring, first-level troubleshooting, and timely escalation.

You will collaborate with network, DBAs, and Linux/Unix teams to ensure system uptime and SLA compliance. Qualifications

• Hands-on experience supporting enterprise IT environments.
• Experience in shift-based operations (24x7).
• Ability to perform first-level troubleshooting and escalate to senior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Windows Server, AD services, and related infrastructure using enterprise tools.
• Respond to alerts, perform initial triage, and escalate per SOPs.
• Conduct routine health checks and document findings.
• Act as first responder during shift for Windows Server or service incidents.
• Perform basic troubleshooting (Event Viewer, service status checks, disk/CPU/memory analysis).
• Create and update incident tickets with clear information.
• Escalate to L2 WinTel engineers or vendor support as needed.
• Support routine operational tasks like health checks, ITSM tickets, user account administration, and backups.
• Follow runbooks for system checks, failover tests, and recovery procedures.
