Job summary

DXC Technology in Singapore is looking for a proactive Monitoring Specialist to join our operations team. You will monitor system and batch job processing, perform 1st level problem determination, and escalate issues to resolve incidents quickly.

You will work with System/Application Support engineers to improve monitoring and health checks, and contribute to change communications. You will participate in daily operations, maintain monitoring policies, and provide 24x7 shift coverage.

Qualifications

• Experience with monitoring tools and batch processing.
• Proactive, analytical mindset with ability to work under pressure.
• Familiarity with ITSM processes and ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor system and batch job processing.
• Perform 1st level problem determination and resolution.
• Escalate issues and critical alerts to appropriate teams.
• Assist engineers with batch jobs recovery.
• Maintain monitoring maintenance policy and change communications.
• Prepare health check reports and participate in daily operations.
• Provide 24x7 rotating shift coverage.
