Job summary

ProFound People Pty Ltd is seeking an Operations Centre Analyst to monitor large-scale data centre infrastructure and act as incident commander during outages. You will oversee dashboards, coordinate engineers and site teams, and ensure timely communication and recovery.

Role involves on-site shifts, working with CCTV and access control, and following documented procedures to improve incident response over time.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a 24/7 operations role (NOC/SOC/GSOC) or data centre command centre.
• Experience running incidents from detection to closure with defined priorities and escalation.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking and server fault monitoring.
• Familiarity with data centre power and cooling systems (BMS/EPMS).
• Exposure to CCTV and electronic access control systems.

Responsibilities

• Watch live dashboards for compute, network, power, cooling and environmental conditions.
• Assess severity and hand off to the right team for resolution.
• Take command during high-impact outages and run bridge calls.
• Provide concise, accurate updates to stakeholders throughout incidents.
• Follow DCIM workflows and stay with engineers until recovery is confirmed.
• Review external risk intelligence and initiate appropriate responses.
