Job summary

Keppel Management Ltd. is seeking a DC Operations professional to manage daily data center activities, oversee critical M&E systems, and coordinate response to alarms and incidents.

The role requires hands-on maintenance knowledge and strong coordination with clients and contractors. You'll perform daily walkthroughs, document findings, and ensure safety and quality procedures are followed, including shift-based emergency responses and handovers to the next technician.

Qualifications

• ITE/Nitec/Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, or equivalent field of study required.
• Understanding electrical and mechanical systems in a data center: feeders, transformers, generators, UPS, etc.
• Experience with PLCs and building management systems; integration with DC infrastructure.
• Proficiency in MS Office; SharePoint knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with internal and external clients.
• Respond to customer service requests in a timely manner.
• Respond to emergency calls during shift work.
• Assist the Operation Lead in daily management of DC Operations to ensure 100% uptime of critical M&E systems.
• Conduct daily walkthrough of the DC to record faults and document equipment status.
• Ensure FOC is monitored and alarms (EPMS, BMS, Fire) are addressed promptly and escalated as needed.
• Maintain logs of readings, equipment, and stock levels; report incidents and complete handovers.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality, and environmental policies within the CE domain.
• Induct subcontractors and ensure safe access and compliance with site procedures.
