Job summary

NCS Pte Ltd is seeking a Data Centre Operations Specialist to manage day-to-day IT operations and data centre support activities. The role emphasizes batch monitoring, incident escalation, tape management, server health checks and remote hands support to ensure stable infrastructure.

You will follow SOPs, operate Windows and Linux servers, and perform Ansible OS patching with monthly patch cycles. The job requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and adherence to escalation procedures.

Qualifications

• Diploma/NITEC or equivalent in IT/CS/engineering.
• Experience in a Data Centre/ NOC/ IT Operations environment preferred.
• Basic understanding of Windows and Linux servers, batch processing, backups and data centre operations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage batch jobs and workloads using scheduling tools.
• Perform server and system health checks on Windows and Linux servers.
• Conduct OS patching (Ansible OS patching) and monthly patch cycles.
• Monitor infrastructure and incident alerts; escalate per SOP.
• Maintain accurate operation records, reports and service metrics.
