Salary: S$5,000 – S$7,000 per month
About the Role
Our client, a full-licence bank in Singapore, is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join its Cards & Technology Team on a 12-month contract.
This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a key banking technology programme spanning multiple project phases, from requirements analysis and solution design through testing, implementation and post-go-live support.
Working closely with Singapore and Head Office (HO) project teams, you will play a pivotal role in project governance, business requirements documentation, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), risk and issue tracking, and go-live readiness. The role is ideal for a hands-on professional who enjoys driving project deliverables, coordinating stakeholders and ensuring smooth implementation in a dynamic banking environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Delivery & Governance
- Coordinate project activities, milestones and deliverables across multiple implementation phases, maintaining integrated project plans, RAID logs, decision registers and action trackers.
- Organise project workshops and governance meetings, prepare meeting minutes, track action owners and deadlines, and support management reporting.
- Support current-state process mapping, requirements gathering, user stories, acceptance criteria and Singapore-specific localisation.
- Coordinate Functional Specification Document (FSD) and Technical Specification Document (TSD) reviews, consolidating feedback, identifying gaps and tracking changes and approvals.
- Maintain project documentation and traceability records using Jira, Confluence and controlled document repositories, ensuring proper governance and audit readiness.
2. UAT, Testing & Implementation Readiness
- Coordinate UAT planning and execution, including system access, test data, tester schedules, test cases and progress tracking.
- Monitor testing results, evidence, defects, retesting and regression testing, ensuring issues are followed through to resolution within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Track operational readiness requirements covering operational risk assessments, regulatory obligations, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), training and communications.
- Support data cleansing, migration validation, dress rehearsals, cutover planning, command-centre arrangements and go-live readiness assessments.
- Coordinate post-implementation hypercare, Day 1/Day 2 outcomes, outstanding items, lessons learned and handover to Business-As-Usual (BAU) teams.
3. Stakeholder Engagement & Project Reporting
- Liaise closely with Singapore and Head Office project teams, business stakeholders and technology teams to maintain alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate project trackers, status reports, documentation and supporting evidence to provide clear visibility of progress and outstanding deliverables.
- Drive timely follow-up on project actions, issues, risks and dependencies, escalating material concerns to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Facilitate cross-functional discussions to resolve gaps, clarify requirements and support effective project execution.
- Support programme leadership with project coordination, implementation planning and operational readiness activities.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in business analysis, project delivery or Project Management Office (PMO) support within banking, payments or financial services.
- Hands-on exposure to the project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design reviews, System Integration Testing (SIT), UAT, defect management, data migration, cutover and post-implementation support.
- Proficiency in Jira, Confluence and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Experience in project documentation, document control, status reporting, audit evidence management and deliverable tracking.
- Strong analytical, organisational and documentation skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills, with the ability to work across Singapore and Head Office teams.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, meet project deadlines and consistently follow through on deliverables.
- A structured, proactive and dependable working style, with strong problem-solving and coordination capabilities.
- Experience in cards issuing/acquiring, personal loans, transaction processing or card-related technology projects will be an advantage.
Reporting Structure
- Report to Business Project Manager.
- Work closely with Singapore and Head Office programme leadership and cross-functional project teams.
- Support project governance, documentation, requirements traceability and implementation readiness, while key business decisions, prioritisation and go-live approvals remain with the designated management teams.
