Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. is seeking a kitchen assistant to support daily food preparation at our Somerset location.

This role involves a 5-day work week with shifts from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM and a 2.5-hour break, with staff meals provided. Responsibilities include assisting chefs, preparing ingredients, maintaining hygiene, receiving and storing supplies, and minimizing wastage. Prior kitchen experience is preferred; Korean cuisine experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or food preparation experience preferred.
• Experience with Korean cuisine is an advantage but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the chef with daily food preparation and cooking.
• Prepare and portion ingredients according to recipes and kitchen requirements.
• Assist with preparation of vegetables, sauces, noodles, dumplings and other menu items.
• Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.
• Ensure food preparation areas, kitchen equipment and workstations are kept clean and hygienic.
• Assist with receiving and storing ingredients.
• Check food quality and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed.
• Monitor ingredient usage and minimise food wastage.
• Perform other kitchen duties as required.

Basic Salary: $2800 - $3600
