The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. at Somerset is seeking an Assistant Chef to support daily food preparation and cooking, and to portion ingredients according to recipes and kitchen needs.

Shift pattern is five days per week with rotate shifts, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM, including a 2.5-hour break and staff meals provided. Prior kitchen experience is preferred; Korean cuisine experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or food preparation experience preferred.
• Experience with Korean cuisine is an advantage but not required.

Responsabilités

• Assist the chef with daily food preparation and cooking.
• Prepare and portion ingredients according to recipes and kitchen requirements.
• Assist with preparation of vegetables, sauces, noodles, dumplings and other menu items.
• Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.
• Ensure food preparation areas, kitchen equipment and workstations are kept clean and hygienic.
• Assist with receiving and storing ingredients.
• Check food quality and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed.
• Monitor ingredient usage and minimise food wastage.
• Perform other kitchen duties as required.

Basic Salary: $2800 - $3600
