Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. is seeking an Assistant Chef for our Somerset kitchen. You will assist the chef with daily food preparation and cooking, and portion ingredients according to recipes while supporting the team during busy service.

The role requires reliability in a 5-day week with rotating shifts from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM, staff meals provided. Salary ranges from SGD 2,800 to SGD 3,600 per month, with opportunities to grow with the team.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or food preparation experience preferred.
• Experience with Korean cuisine is an advantage but not required.

• Assist the chef with daily food preparation and cooking
• Prepare and portion ingredients according to recipes and kitchen requirements
• Assist with preparation of vegetables, sauces, noodles, dumplings and other menu items
• Support the kitchen team during busy service periods
• Ensure food preparation areas, kitchen equipment and workstations are kept clean and hygienic
• Assist with receiving and storing ingredients
• Check food quality and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed
• Monitor ingredient usage and minimise food wastage
• Perform other kitchen duties as required
