Danieli Morgårdshammar AB, part of the Danieli Group, is seeking an experienced industry professional to develop trusted relationships with Nordic steel, aluminum and metals producers and to grow the aftermarket and service business across the region.
You will coordinate spare parts supply, technical services, on-site assistance, maintenance support, and plant modernization projects, ensuring value creation for customers while aligning with Danieli capabilities.
Danieli Morgårdshammar AB is part of the international Danieli Group and has been serving the Nordic metals industry for more than 170 years. Based in Smedjebacken, Sweden, we support steel, aluminum and other metal producers throughout Scandinavia with engineering services, spare parts, technical support and long-term partnership solutions.
We operate in an industry where trust, competence and personal relationships are often more important than presentations, marketing materials or corporate references. Our success is built on credibility and on being recognized as a reliable partner by the people who operate and maintain production facilities every day.
We are looking for an experienced industry professional who already understands the reality of steel mills, rolling mills and metal processing plants.
This is not a typical sales position, more a business developer position.
The ideal candidate is someone who has worked directly within the metals industry or closely alongside plant personnel and understands how industrial decisions are truly made. Candidates coming directly from steel, aluminum or other metals production facilities are particularly encouraged to apply.
You will be expected to develop trusted relationships with key decision makers and operational personnel throughout the Nordic region while identifying and developing new commercial opportunities.
Your success will not be measured by the number of visits performed or quotations submitted, but by your ability to become a trusted and respected partner within the industry.
The primary focus of this role is the development of Danieli aftermarket and service business.
Activities include the sales, coordination, and follow-up of the following services and solutions for your designated customers:
Success in this role requires the ability to understand customers' operational challenges and identify opportunities where Danieli's technical expertise and service capabilities can create measurable value.
We are particularly interested in candidates who have:
More than technical qualifications, we are looking for someone who understands plant culture, speaks the language of industrial operations and can quickly establish credibility with the people who influence purchasing decisions.
For this position, interpersonal capabilities are just as important as technical knowledge.
The successful candidate will:
In the Nordic business culture, trust is often the primary factor behind purchasing decisions. We therefore place exceptional importance on integrity, credibility and relationship-building skills.
Many sales positions require introducing a company to new customers and building visibility from scratch.
This is not the case.
Danieli - Morgårdshammar and the Danieli Group are already well known throughout the Nordic metals industry. Significant efforts have been made in recent years to increase our presence within production facilities, establish direct contacts with key stakeholders and strengthen our reputation across the region.
In many cases, the doors are already open. Several customers already work with Danieli. However, substantial opportunities remain to deepen those relationships and expand our involvement far beyond our current level of business.
Your mission will therefore not be to introduce Danieli to the market. Your mission will be to transform existing awareness into trust, and trust into long-term partnerships, customer loyalty and sustainable business growth.
We are looking for someone who can become the person our customers call first when they need advice, support or a reliable partner.
The successful candidate will not operate as a stand-alone salesperson.
Commercial strategy, customer development plans and growth initiatives are defined in close coordination with the Danieli Group headquarters in Italy and the Nordic Area.
The role is fully integrated within a broader international organization and supported by dedicated technical, commercial and engineering resources worldwide.
Daily support is provided by the Nordic Area Manager, while customer visits and business development activities are frequently performed jointly with Product Line Managers, technical specialists and senior representatives from Danieli headquarters.
The objective is to combine local presence and relationship-building with the engineering expertise, product knowledge and global resources of the Danieli Group. We are therefore looking for a person who enjoys being on the front line with customers, while being fully supported by an international team behind them.
You are not expected to be a lone hunter searching for orders.
You will be the trusted local face of Danieli, supported by the full strength of a global organization and acting as the link between our customers and the worldwide expertise of the Danieli Group. The market already knows Danieli and Morgårdshammar brands.
Years of technical support, customer engagement and industry presence have established our reputation and opened many doors.
The next step is to strengthen those relationships with a professional who can earn the trust of plant personnel, operational managers and purchasing decision makers.
We are looking for someone who can walk into a plant, understand the challenges faced by its people, speak their language and ultimately become the person they trust when it is time to place an order.
In the Nordic industrial culture, trust is not a sales tool, It is the foundation upon which long-term business is built.
