Job summary

NSC Global in Sweden is seeking a Desktop Support Field Engineer to join our growing team. You will install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and peripheral devices across our client environments.

The role requires hands-on hardware and software support, experience with printers, network basics, and a customer-focused attitude. You will work with other IT staff to ensure rapid issue resolution and smooth branch deployments.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office.
Experience with desktop hardware, printers and peripherals.
Familiar with networking basics (TCP/IP) and standard IT tools.
Microsoft certification and A+ experience are preferred.
Experience with SMS/Active Directory/Exchange environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot Windows OS and Microsoft Office, printers and peripherals.
Perform general preventative maintenance and repairs on desktops and printers.
Manage user accounts, rights and security within IT systems.
Escalate complex issues to tier 3 support and coordinate with vendors.
Maintain IT records and hardware/software inventory for the site.
