The Bookkeeper / Junior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate day-to-day accounting records and supporting the finance function with timely, reliable financial data. This role is critical in ensuring proper documentation, reconciliations, and compliance to support financial reporting and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and maintain all daily financial transactions, including vendor invoices, expense entries, customer invoices, revenue posting, payments, receipts, and journal entries
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including vendor balances and aging customer collections tracking
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations on a regular basis
- Maintain petty cash records and reconciliations
- Organize, upload, and archive supporting documents in an orderly and auditable manner
- Prepare payroll inputs (attendance, overtime, deductions) for review by Finance / HR
- Support month-end closing activities, including schedules and reconciliations
- Assist with audit requests and internal documentation
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting procedures, and company policies
- Support the CFO and finance team with ad-hoc accounting and reporting tasks
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a similar role
- Experience working with accounting software / ERP systems
