Job Description

Advanced Formwork Co. Ltd (Doka Saudi) offers an exciting opportunity as Head of Sales. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to exploit market potential. The Head of Sales will be accountable for expanding Doka’s presence in Saudi Arabia and managing sales, sales targets, profitability, and strategy implementation, in addition to leading the Sales Team. The Head of Sales is part of the Country Leadership Team and reports to the Managing Director.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Lead and manage sales personnel and support them to reach their individual sales targets.
  • Maintain close customer relationships with key clients and decision-makers.
  • Communicate effectively and collaborate with engineering, finance, and operations to ensure smooth coordination between departments.
  • Optimize offer processes (scope of supply including services, project calculation, contract management) and order processes (change orders, claims, service charges) through appropriate monitoring.
  • Visualize the added value of management tools (e.g., Project Calculator, Victori II & III, Cockpit, Sales Dashboard) and ensure effective utilization.
  • Drive sales and margin goals for the assigned territory, including monthly forecasts of revenue by product and customer, and ensure aggressive growth.
  • Collaborate with management to produce plans, budgets, forecasts, and delivery against these plans.
  • Work with Operations and Engineering teams to ensure proper handover of sales orders and that materials for the solution are in stock.
  • Ensure efficient and compliant project and contract management.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of international sales/engineering experience in the system formwork industry.
  • Qualification in Civil Engineering, Business Management, or equivalent.
  • Large-scale project management experience, ideally in the Middle East region.
  • Strong sales management skills, especially in negotiation and closing.
  • Good financial understanding/business acumen (margin drivers, discount policy, pricing strategies).
  • Project and key account management experience, as well as job site experience.
  • Proven leadership skills: KPI management, enabling and empowering teams, inspiring others, management by objectives.
  • Proactive and effective interpersonal, communication, and feedback skills.
  • Hands-on mentality and approach.
  • Entrepreneurial thinking, ownership, and willingness to take calculated risks.
  • Conceptual and analytical thinking, commercial awareness, customer orientation, creativity, and assertiveness.
  • International track record in the construction industry.
