Job summary

A consulting firm in Saudi Arabia seeks a Government Relations Officer responsible for managing all aspects of government relations including licensing and visa processes. Job description

Overall responsibility for all government relations, including visa and GRO operations Responsible for all license and ministry related queries including visa and immigration queries and ensuring the CRM and Dropbox are always up to date.

Key Accountabilities
  • Liaising government works with Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD), General Organization of Social Insurance (GOSI), Absher, QIWA, Mudad, Muqeem, Immigration department, Police department, Ministry of Investment of Saudi Arabia (MISA), Chamber of Commerce, Municipality, Civil Court, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Embassies, Ministry of Justice, Special Economic Zone Authorities, Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) and all other authorities
  • Obtaining up to date, accurate information regarding processes and prices for both license and visa applications and issuance
  • Assist staff with completing research for business activities, external approvals, and other requirements
  • Assist in completing all government-related applications, registrations, renewals, lodgments, and amendments for Creation Group and its clients from Creation office
  • Supporting clients with completion of iqamas, passports, and other paperwork
  • Assist HR department with Ministry of Human Resources tasks
  • Manage the legal cases, coordinate, work with and report to management and HR department on case status
  • Accountable for keeping the Company and its clients legally with all relevant authorities
  • Assist with all GRO related and compliance formalities and tasks for Creation Group
  • Complete and update all Finance expenses and Operations projects as per Standard Operating Processes (SOP)
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and sustain valuable relationships between CBC, clients, stakeholders, and all government departments
  • Liaising with colleagues and clients for government appointments
  • Identifies and ensures all expiry reminders for licenses, visas, passports, compliance lodgments etc. are entered into CRM accurately
  • Responsible for processing and submitting visa applications, ensuring accurate documentation for KSA employment, renewal/transfer, visit, tourist, and business travel visas
  • Complete the attestation for Creation Group and its clients’ documents as required
  • Accurate preparation of documents according to the requirement of the legal authorities
  • Always maintain confidentiality and security of company and client documents
  • Provide continuous updates on new rules in the governmental departments
  • Assist clients with banking facilities and ensure adequate support is provided in opening accounts
Experience and education
  • Must be Saudi National
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Degree qualified in business administration, compliance, or relevant field
  • Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in government relations
  • 3+ years working in corporate services or professional services in KSA
  • Knowledge and experience of the governmental portal system
  • Proven operational, project management and customer support record for 3+ years
  • Computer literacy is essential
  • Saudi Arabia and wider GCC market knowledge
