Job summary
A leading management solutions firm is seeking a Group Leader for Body Shop Maintenance in Saudi Arabia. This role entails leading maintenance operations to optimize equipment reliability and production efficiency. The ideal candidate has over 10 years of experience in automotive manufacturing, with expertise in robotics, PLC systems, and team management. Responsibilities include supervising the maintenance team, planning maintenance tasks, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in automotive maintenance.
- Experience with robotic, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic systems.
- Strong understanding of safety compliance and auditing standards.

- Lead Body Shop maintenance operations for equipment uptime and efficiency.
- Supervise maintenance team and manage operations.
- Plan and execute maintenance activities for robots and automation.

Lead and manage Body Shop maintenance operations to ensure maximum equipment uptime, reliability, and production efficiency. Responsible for preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of robotic welding and automation systems.
- Supervise maintenance team for Body Shop (BIW, robotic, and welding equipment).
- Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance for robots, welders, conveyors, and fixtures.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Maintain PLCs, robotic systems (Fanuc, ABB, KUKA, etc.), and automation networks.
- Monitor KPIs (OEE, MTTR, MTBF) and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure safety compliance (LOTO, ISO 45001) and audit readiness.
- Manage spare parts and maintenance documentation in CMMS.
- Train and develop technical staff on equipment and systems.
- Bachelor’sin Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in automotive Body Shop Maintenance .
- Strong knowledge of robotics, PLCs, welding equipment , and automation systems .
- Experience with TPM, Kaizen, and root cause analysis tools.
- Leadership and team management skills.
